Java Coding 2: Advanced Programming

Java is a general-purpose, object-oriented programming language that is widely used by programmers in fields ranging from Android application development to Big Data technologies. Because of its platform independent nature, it is a popular and in-demand language to learn.

Workshop Topics

  • Introducing more conditionals to control the way a program behaves.
  • A deep dive into simple data structures.
  • Performing boolean and numerical operations on data types.
Prerequisites: A basic understanding of topics from Java Part 1: Introduction to Java or previous programming experience in another language.
