Office 365 Email for Student Employees
As a student employee of the university, you are issued an Office 365 faculty and staff email account ([email protected]) in addition to an existing student account (@student.gsu.edu).

Use Microsoft Outlook to Check Both Accounts
Check both the faculty/staff and student email accounts using Microsoft Outlook. Outlook is available in the Microsoft Office Suite, which is provided to you for free as a part of your Office 365 email account, and can be downloaded on up to 5 devices for free, including your phone or computer.

- When you check your Office 365 email or want to use other tools in your faculty/staff email account, sign in online at: outlook.com/gsu.edu
- When you want to check your PantherMail account, sign in at panthermail.gsu.edu.
Troubleshooting
The log in links above should sign you out of one account and prompt you to log into the proper account.To make checking both accounts easier online without having to sign in and out of accounts, use a different browser to check each account.

No Auto-Forwarding Your Office 365 Email to Accounts Not Ending in @gsu.edu
Automatic forwarding of university email messages poses a data security threat that can put students, faculty and staff at risk of fraud and identity theft. To better protect sensitive and confidential information, faculty, staff and student employees cannot automatically forward email from their Office 365 Faculty and Staff Email to an email that is not an @gsu.edu address.
This forwarding rule also prevents auto-forwarding your work email (@gsu.edu) to your PantherMail student email (@student.gsu.edu). However, email from your PantherMail account can be automatically forwarded as normal.
Student employees should check both of their accounts regularly, use Outlook to check both accounts in one place, or can forward their @student.gsu.edu email to @gsu.edu to check that account.
