Malicious Software Alert
Current statistics indicate that nearly 90% of harmful computer programs are downloaded through the Internet, often without computer users’ knowledge. IS&T’s Malicious Software Alert service provides a safer web browsing experience by protecting your computer from malicious software when you access the Internet using the university’s network. The service warns you about websites known to contain harmful software and attempts to prevent download of destructive content, limiting potential computer damage and exposure of sensitive information.
