Anti-Virus Software
To protect your computer from a wide array of malicious software and to safeguard the campus network, Georgia State students, faculty, and staff are offered free university-standard anti-virus software.
- Run on-demand detection and regularly scheduled scans
- Get regular updates to virus definitions
- Anti-virus for Georgia-State-owned computers includes SiteAdvisor, which warns users of potentially harmful sites by rating the security of search results as users browse the Internet
Faculty and staff can request assistance installing anti-virus software on GSU-owned computers by contacting the IS&T Help Center at 404-413-4357 (HELP) or help@gsu.edu.
