Connect to GSU Wireless on a Personally-Owned Android

Overview

This document explains how to connect to the GSU wireless network on an Android device.

NOTE: These screen shots were taken using a Samsung device. However, the steps should remain similar for other devices.

Connect to the GSU Network

  1. Find and open the Settings App on your phone.

  2. In your phone’s Settings, tap the Wi-Fi option.

  3. Find GSU wireless network in the list of available networks and tap it.

  4. In the new popup:
    1. Enter your CampusID in Identity and Anonymous Identity fields.
    2. Enter your CampusID Password in the Password field.
    3. Tap Connect.

  5. If you have connected to other campus networks before connecting to GSU, like the GSU-Guest network, you should “forget” them in your wireless list to avoid connection problems. In the list of available networks and tap GSU-Guest.

  6. In the new popup, tap Forget.
