Team Sites

A SharePoint Express Team site is an internal website designed to be a place where your team can communicate and collaborate. With a team site, you can:

Features Description
Document Library Use a document library to store, organize, sync, and share documents with people. You can use co-authoring, versioning, and check out to work on documents together. With your documents in one place, everybody can get the latest versions whenever they need them. You can also sync your documents to your local computer for offline access.
Calendar A calendar of upcoming meetings, deadlines or other events. Calendar information can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook or other compatible programs.
OneNote Microsoft OneNote 2010 notebook in the Shared Documents library with a link to it on the Quick Launch.
News Feed News Feed contains microblogging conversations on a group site.
Business Intelligence (BI)

Power BI for Office 365 is a cloud based solution that reduces the barriers to deploying a self-service Business Intelligence environment for sharing live Excel based reports and data queries, and provides new features that enable ease of data discovery and information access from anywhere.

Please note that Power BI for Office 365 does not support Internet Explorer 8.

Project Site

SharePoint Express Project sites are useful for planning out the work that needs to be done, collaborating with project teammates, and collecting project files and documents.
With a Project site you can:

Project Summary Displays information about a project in an easy to read overview.

Community Sites

Community sites include four wiki pages (Home, Categories, Members, and About), which are stored in the wiki page library. Just as you can customize a team site or wiki page library, you can customize these communities pages by adding additional text, images, and other web parts, such as a unique theme and background image, and a custom site icon. You can also create additional pages for your community along with other typical SharePoint content, such as lists and libraries.
