Download the OneDrive Client on Windows

Overview

This post outlines how to download OneDrive desktop client on a Windows 7 or Windows 10 computer.

Downloading OneDrive Client for Windows

You may already have OneDrive installed on your computer if you have installed the university Microsoft Office package.
  1. Go to Microsoft’s OneDrive page.
  2. Click Download at the top of the page.

  3. Under OneDrive for Business, click Download Now.

  4. Find and open the downloaded OneDrive file in your Downloads folder.
  5. In the Security Warning window, click Run.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Click Accept.

  8. Click Sign In.

  9. Enter your Campus Email Address and then click Next.

  10. Choose Organizational Account.

  11. In the Sign In window:
    1. Enter Your Campus Email Address and Password
    2. Click Sign In

  12. Click Next.

  13. Click Next.

  14. Choose Take a look or No thanks.

  15. OneDrive will continue to install in the background. When the installation is complete, click All Done.

  16. After you have downloaded the OneDrive client application, you can sync your online OneDrive account to your Windows computer.
