Update Your Wireless Password on a Windows or Mac computer

This document describes how to update your wireless password on a personally-owned Windows or Mac computer after you change your CampusID password.

Update your Wireless Password on Windows

  1. When you change your CampusID Password, you will be prompted to enter your new password the next time you connect to the wireless network. Enter your CampusID and Password, and then click OK.

  2. If you are not prompted to enter your CampusID and password, click the wifi-win-icon icon.

  3. Click GSU, and then click Connect.

  4. Enter Your CampusID and Password, and then click OK.

Update your Wireless Password on a Mac

  1. Click the airport-icon icon at the top right in your Mac toolbar and click Open Network Preferences.

  2. Click Advanced.

  3. In the Wi-Fi window:
    1. Select GSU
    2. Click the “—” sign
    3. Click OK

  4. Click Disconnect.

  5. Select GSU from the wireless network dropdown list.

  6. You should be prompted for your credentials:
    1. Enter your CampusID
    2. Enter your CampusID Password
    3. Click Join
