Overview

This document details the steps to connect to Georgia State’s wireless network, CatChat2x, using XpressConnect for Android devices.

Connect to Wireless using XpressConnect for Android

NOTE: If your Android device can already connect to the Internet without using a local wifi connection, but you still wish to configure your device with CatChat2x, please skip to step 2
  1. Open your browser. In the Campus Log In page, sign in with your CampusID and Password.

  2. Open a browser and go to wireless.gsu.edu.
  3. Tap Set Up Your Device.

  4. Tap Install.

  5. You should be automatically directed to the Play Store. Tap Install.

  6. Tap Accept.

  7. Navigate back to the Set Up Your Device to Use CatChat2x webpage still open in your browser. Tap Setup WiFi.

  8. Tap Continue.

  9. On the next screen:
    1. Enter your CampusID and Password
    2. Click Continue

  10. Tap Done.
