Creating a MathWorks Account

NOTE: If you already have a MathWorks Account, proceed to Downloading MatLab.
  1. Go to MathWorks.com
  2. Click Create Account at the top right Navigation bar

  3. On the Create a MathWorks Account page:
    1. Enter your Campus Email Address
    2. Create a Password for your MathWorks Account
    3. Select Country and Usage

    4. Enter Your Contact Information

    5. Enter Your Telephone Information (Optional)
    6. Click Continue

  4. On the Customize your MathWorks Account:
    1. Enter Your Academic Information
    2. Click Continue

  5. Check Your Email and click the Link sent to you. Then, Click Continue.

Downloading MatLab

NOTE: You are required to have a MathWorks Account before Downloading MathLab. See Create a MathWorks Account.
  1. Log In to Your MathWorks Account
  2. On the top right-hand side, Click on “your name”.

  3. On the left-hand side, Click Manage Licenses.

  4. Click Add License

  5. Choose Activation Key and Click Continue

  6. Enter Activation Key and Click Continue

  7. Click Done

  8. In your “License Center”, Click Campus-wide network install.

  9. Under “License Details”, Click Download Products.

    NOTE: You may need to update your version of Java. Click here to update to the newest version of Java. Follow the download instructions, then repeat step 6.
  10. Select the Platform(s) you wish to download, then Click Download.

    NOTE: If you are unsure which Windows PC system you have, please determine your PC system type before continuing installation.
  11. Click Continue.

Installing MatLab

  1. Click OK.

  2. Click Run.

  3. Click Next.

  4. In the “License Agreement” box, Click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement. Then, Click Next.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Click Next.

  8. Click Yes.

  9. Click Install.

  10. Click Next.
