This post shows you how to use your Send a File’s Filedrop. Filedrop allows others to send you large files using a Filedrop URL.

Using Your Filedrop


Your Personal Filedrop URL

  1. Go to sendafile.gsu.edu.
  2. Log in with your CampusID email and password.
  3. Click Account at the top right hand side of the navigation bar.

  4. Your Filedrop URL is located in the Filedrop box at the bottom.

  5. If you wish to send this link to a student or a colleague, click the Copy to Clipboard button, and paste the link into an email message or your course.

    WARNING: Protect your account from unauthorized use (Spam bots, viruses, etc) by giving the URL only to people whom you trust. We do not recommend posting the URL on any social network site or any other publicly accessible site.


Download Files from your Filedrop

Download from your Email
You will receive an email with a link to download the file(s) whenever a file is placed in your Filedrop. You won’t see a notification when you log in to the Send a File application, however.

To download a file from your email, click the link included in the email message.

NOTE: If you are not already logged in to Send a File, you will see a page where you can enter your Campus email and CampusID password.

Download from Send a File

  1. Go to sendafile.gsu.edu
  2. Log in with your CampusID email and password.
  3. Click Inbox in the top navigation.

  4. Click View Message in the row of the message you wish to view.

  5. Click on the file name(s) in the Attached files section of the message to download the file(s).
