This document gives you the steps on how to move and delete content/topic in Desire2Learn.

Moving and Deleting Content


Moving Content/Modules

  1. Click Resources and the click Content on the top navigation bar.

  2. Click 3lines on a Module/Topic and drag it to a new location.

Deleting Content Topics

  1. Click Resources and then click Content on the top navigation bar.

  2. Click dropdown-menu next to the topic you want to delete and select Delete.

  3. Choose one of the options below, and then click Delete:
    1. Remove the topic from Content but keep the associated file or activity in the course
    2. Permanently delete both the topic from Content and the associated file or activity from the course

    NOTE: To Delete Multiple Content Topics at once, Click Bulk Edit at the top navigation then click d2l-trash-icon to delete.

Deleting Content Modules

  1. Click Resources and the click Content on the top navigation bar.

  2. Click the Module you want to delete.

  3. Click dropdown-menu next to the Module, and then click Delete Module.

  4. Choose one of the options below, and then click Delete:
    1. Remove the topic from Content but keep the associated file or activity in the course
    2. Permanently delete both the topic from Content and the associated file or activity from the course
