Insert a Link Using the HTML Editor in Desire2Learn

This post outlines how to manage your links in Deisre2Learn.

Managing Links

  1. Click the Resources drop-down tab and select Links.

  3. Click New Category.
  4. links2

  5. On the New Link Category page, enter:
    1. A Name for the Link Category
    2. A Description for the Link Category
    3. When finished, click Save

  7. In the Manage Links page, click New Link.

  8. On the New Link page, enter:
    1. Title – Enter the title of the link
    2. URL – Enter the web address for the link
    3. Window – Click the checkbox to have the link open in a new window
    4. Description – Enter a description of the link
    5. When finished, click Save

  10. Continue to create new Categories and Links as necessary.
